With three weeks to go before the kick off of the central region football association premier league, Salima based Parachute Battalion has reshuffled its technical panel, The Champion can reveal.
According to information gathered by The Champion those who have been shown the exit door include assistant coach Christopher Kalira, Vice Chairman, Alfonso Phiri and Technical Director, Austin Malion.
The trio have been replaced by Julius Makwinja, Tamanda Chimangamsasa and Davie Kachingwe.
"We were informed a couple of days ago that three officials will no longer be part of us," an insider said.
Kalila confirmed being jettisoned together with the two saying the issues are bordering on discipline.
Efforts to speak to Phiri and Malion proved futile but Kalila said following the development, he is now ready to assist any team in Salima even as a volunteer because he just loves the game of soccer.
Parachute battalion failed to gain promotion into super league last season despite enjoying huge financial and material support from management.
The team is currently looking for five players, two strikers, a defending midfielder and a winger.
The new faces are supposed to take the places of Raymond Awali, Prince Kachale and Rosiscky Ibrahim.
Kachale has been signed by Mafco while Awali is now at Kamuzu Barracks while Ibrahim is expected to undergo a knee operation at Kamuzu Central Hospital next week.
