Blue Eagles who are fighting to wrestle the TNM Super League title from Nyasa Big Bullets failed to strengthen their chances of winning the championship after they could only draw 1-1 against Mighty Mukuru Wanderers at the Kamuzu stadium on Sunday.

Wanderers who recently clinched a sponsorship deal with Mukuru Finance Limited took an early lead through a Muhammad Sukumba but Eagles ensured the pints were shared with a deserved equaliser by Flames midfielder Micium Mhone.

Eagles now have 29 points but trail Bullets who are leading the table by six points.
