Chitipa United has made a quick return to the Super League League after emerging champions of the 2022 SIMSO/INNOBUILD Northern Region Football Association (NRFA).

Chitipa sealed promotion to the top division following a 2-1 win over Mayamiko Stars on Saturday.

Bright Masebo was hero of the day after scoring a brace that sank Mayamiko Stars who got their consolation goal through Davie Tobias.

Chitipa United has finished the premier division with 25 points from 14 games and will replace Rumphi United in the elite league where they got relegated this season.
