Exactly 30 days after playing the final match of the 2022 football season, Nyasa Big Bullets is set to regroup on 23rd January.
Bullets last played a competitive match on December 17 when they were beaten on penalties by their Blantyre arch rivals, Mighty Mukuru Wanderers in the finals of the Airtel Top 8 at the Bingu Stadium in Lilongwe.
The TNM Super League and FDH Bank Cup holders have announced they commence preparations for the upcoming 2023 football season on January 23.
According to Chief Administration Officer, Albert Chigoga Bullets are set to host an international bonanza in March and are also planning to take part in the Confederation of Africa (CAF) champions league tournament this year.
"We are planning to host an international bonanza in March and the team need to be in good shape for that tournament,” Chigoga said.
He added: “Apart from that, we have domestic tournaments as well as CAF champions league and all this will be part of the preparations."
In 2020, the people's team also hosted an international bonanza which included UD Songo of Mozambique, Chicken Inn of Zimbabwe as well as its local rivals Wanderers.
