Newly promoted TNM super league side Bangwe All Stars have acquired the services of former Nyasa Big Bullets goalkeeper Enerst Kakhobwe ahead of the 2023 season to kick off in April.

The club has said the 29-year-old former Flames international has joined Bangwe All-stars after signing a 2 year contract.

Kakhobwe returns to Blantyre after spending last season with capital city side Civil Service United whom he joined after parting ways with FCB Nyasa Big Bullets before the start of the 2022 season.

The gangly shot stopper who has played 24 times for the national team brings with him vast experience of top level competition having previously been the first pick for both Bullets and the Flames.

Bangwe All Stars will be hoping his experience will prove vital for a team expected to be fighting to avoid relegation to lower league football.
