TNM super league side Mighty Mukuru Wanderers has donated to victims of Cyclone Freddy in Phalombe district.
The Nomads together with their sponsors Mukuru went to the victims with assorted items such as maize flour, soya pieces and beans.
Team spokesperson, Clement Stambuli said the donations are worth MK2 million.
Stambuli said the team thought of helping the victims knowing some of them are their supporters.
"We know this is not enough but for a while it should help them to some extent," he said.
Phalombe District Commissioner Douglas District said he was grateful for the help from Wanderers.
"As you know, many people in the district were left homeless because of the cyclone so the donation from Wanderers has come on time," he said.
