As one way of boosting its technical panel following its return to the TNM super league, northern region based side Chitipa United has appointed McDonald Nginde Mtetemela as head coach.
The tactician who failed to help Sable Farming avoid relegation in the elite league last season has signed a two years deal with Chitipa United which will see him at the club until 2025.
General Secretary for the club Duma Ng'oma has confirmed the development saying the contract is result oriented.
"We have reached a two year agreement with coach McDonald Mtetemela and it will be based on how the team will perform under his guidance,” Ng’oma said, adding that he was hopeful the former MDC United and Flames international defender will help the team to avoid relegation in the 2023 football season.
